2023/24
We now have more ways to connect to one another than at any time in human history. Despite this interconnectedness, we are experiencing an epidemic rise in emotional, behavioral, and learning challenges that can be linked to a pervasive sense of disconnection and non-belonging. Every dimension of well-being is directly impacted by the extent to which we feel connected to self and others, the compassion we grow for self and others, and the curiosity we nurture. With this understanding, the team of clinicians at Sasco River Center has chosen to focus the 2034-24 Parent Discussion Series on “The Three C’s”:
- Connection
- Compassion
- Curiosity
Join us on the first Tuesday of each month at 10am. We will cover important topics relevant to child development and provide insight and current research regarding the intersection of “The Three C’s” with the social, emotional, behavioral, and sensory welfare of children, adolescents, and their families. We’ll look at the theories behind clinicians’ observations and provide practical suggestions to stimulate connection, compassion and curiosity in your children and families.
