Whitney Buckley, PsyD
Licensed Psychologist
Dr. Whitney Buckley is a licensed clinical psychologist with a focus on children and their families. In addition to working in private practice, she has over a decade of experience working in public schools in the area. Dr. Buckley completes comprehensive evaluations for children with a wide variety of challenges in order to equip families, other clinicians, and schools with the critical information needed to best support children’s individual differences, and help children understand their particular set of strengths and challenges so they can be self-advocates while
productively working toward their goals.
Dr. Buckley received a BA in Psychology, graduating summa cum laude from the University of Connecticut. She received her graduate training from Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at Yeshiva University in New York, earning both an MS in School Psychology and PsyD in School - Clinical Child Psychology with a concentration in Early Childhood Development.
- In addition to young children, Dr. Buckley has extensive experience working with children and adolescents with anxiety, OCD, depression, ADHD, learning disabilities, and Autism, and children with other social communication challenges.
- Dr. Buckley emphasizes a collaborative approach with families and schools that empowers parents and teachers to use the information gleaned in their work together to support and generalize progress in school and everyday functioning.
