Taylor Agate, PhD


Senior Neuropsychology Fellow

Taylor Agate, PhD, is a senior postdoctoral fellow at Sasco River Center with a focus in pediatric neuropsychology. He primarily specializes in comprehensive evaluations for children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental, medical, and learning differences. Taylor takes a collaborative, family-centered approach, integrating cognitive, emotional, and environmental factors to understand each individual’s unique profile. He is particularly committed to supporting youth who face complex challenges, including those from underserved backgrounds. Ultimately, Taylor strives to help youth reach their full potential, providing them and their families with recommendations for support and a hopeful path forward.

  • Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from the College of William and Mary
  • Master of Science in Psychology from Drexel University
  • Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology from the University of Victoria (specialization in
    Neuropsychology)

  • Experience in psychoeducational and neuropsychological assessment of children with
    neurodevelopmental differences
  • Training in neuropsychological assessment across the lifespan, including pediatric brain injury and
    genetic disorders, adult epilepsy and movement disorders, and geriatric neurocognitive disorders
  • Experience providing psychotherapy to youth and adults with anxiety and obsessive-compulsive
    disorder (OCD)

  • Use a holistic, biopsychosocial framework to understand each individual
  • Emphasize strengths alongside areas of vulnerability
  • Promote equity and access to care for underserved populations

  • Outside of Sasco, Taylor enjoys spending time with his family, including his two daughters and dog.
    A native of Philadelphia, he is a passionate Philly sports fan (GO BIRDS).
