Stephanie Basister, COTA/L
Occupational Therapy Assistant
Stephanie has been a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/L) since 2017, with experience in outpatient clinics, schools, and in-home settings. Prior to becoming a COTA/L, she worked in the field of Applied
Behavior Analysis for 10 years and is currently pursuing her Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential. Working with children has always been her focused area of practice.

Stephanie worked in the public schools as an ABA therapist for 10 years with students in elementary, middle, and high school implementing behavior plans and functional programs. Stephanie has previous experience in Birth to Three (B23) working closely with families in Waterbury and surrounding towns for 2 years. She has since focused on the field of occupational therapy in pediatrics with additional training in feeding therapy. Her work experience has been within public schools, outpatient clinics, and in-home services.
Stephanie strongly believes in providing interventions from a collaborative approach, closely working with other service providers and the families to give the most beneficial treatment and the highest level of support.
