Rebecca Reidy Bunn, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist in Connecticut and New York. She is a senior neuropsychology fellow completing specialized training with Sasco. Rebecca’s evaluation experience has a strong emphasis on neurodevelopmental disorders, including ADHD, autism, dyslexia, intellectual disability, communication disorders, as well as socioemotional assessment, including mood, anxiety, depression, psychotic spectrum, and personality disorders.
Rebecca believes feedback and recommendations are the heart of evaluation, helping families identify and reduce barriers, including academic, social, and emotional challenges. Rebecca utilizes a strength-based approach. To facilitate this process, Rebecca prioritizes building strong rapport to ensure that the findings are representative and of high quality, thereby informing future directions. Rebecca has experience conducting evaluations of students in the Connecticut and New York school systems and using the resulting reports to support the Individualized Education Program (IEP) and Section 504 plan processes, thereby creating equitable access to an individual’s learning environment.
Rebecca attended Randolph-Macon College, earning her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in English in 2017. She graduated summa cum laude and as a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Rebecca earned her Master of Arts in Psychology with a concentration in Mental Health and Substance Abuse Counseling from The New School in 2019.
