Guided by Anna Gillingham’s philosophy—“I go as fast as I can, and as slow as I must”—Kristen partners closely with families to ensure meaningful, lasting progress.

Kristen provides structured instruction in phonemic awareness, decoding, fluency, comprehension, spelling, grammar, and writing. A member of the Orton-Gillingham Academy and the International Dyslexia Association, Kristen holds degrees from the University of Vermont and the University of Massachusetts Boston and has completed advanced training through Windward’s Teacher Training Institute. Outside of teaching, she enjoys time with her family, skiing, hiking, reading, and needlepoint.
