Director, Occupational Therapy Clinical Programs

Kelly is the Director of OT Clinical Programs and pediatric occupational therapist with over 12 years of experience across school and clinical settings. She earned her Masters in Occupational Therapy from Sacred Heart University and has extensive experience supporting children from birth through young adulthood in settings including public and private schools, the community, clinics and in the home. Kelly specializes in sensory integration, feeding therapy (including infant and toddler) and believes in a whole-child, regulation-focused approach. She has advanced training in the S.O.S. Approach to Feeding, DIR/Floortime, primitive reflex integration, Integrated Listening Systems, and Handwriting Without Tears.

Kelly believes in “regulation before participation” and the connection between the body and the mind as it relates to self-regulation. Her approach is play-based, neuro-affirming, connection-focused and based in family education.

  • IEP/504/School-Based Therapy
    • Worked in various public school districts for 8+ years with Pre-School through Transition age students (18-22 years old).
    • Experience in consulting, evaluating and treating in both Public and Private Schools.
    • Skilled in completing Independent Educational Evaluations (IEE) for families and school districts.
  • Feeding Therapy - Trained in the SOS Approach to Feeding, and vast experience with feeding therapy for infants through teens.
  • Trained in and use of the DIR/Floortime model for child-led therapy, especially with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
  • Worked with clients across the lifespan with a variety of diagnoses and needs, including, but not limited to ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Sensory Processing Disorders, Downs Syndrome, rare genetic conditions, cerebral palsy and general developmental delays.

  • Kelly has a 4 year old daughter, a 9 year old black lab, and enjoys Yoga, baking and shopping.
  • During graduate school, Kelly completed a clinical mission in Antigua, Guatemala, providing musculoskeletal therapies to local communities and building/customizing wheelchairs for children with physical disabilities.
