Executive Functions Coach

Katherine is an experienced educator with over 20 years of experience. She has created special education programs at international schools, has worked in public, private and charter schools, as well as abroad. Throughout all of her professional experience she has done executive functioning coaching for students of all ages. She has a passion for helping students learn strategies that best help them in both school and life. She has worked with all different learning styles and loves learning about how each student learns best.

  • Katherine has worked in Special Education for over 18 years in schools of all kinds.
  •  She has been both a Special Education teacher as well as a Special Ed Director, ensuring all students get the accommodations and support that they need.
  • She has built a Learning Support program at an international school from the ground up, ensuring that there were procedures and protocols in place and teachers/admin were trained properly to ensure success for all students.
  • She has experience working with individuals with mental health or physical conditions, such as ADHD, ASD, anxiety, depression, dysgraphia, mood disorders, and more.

Her approach is holistic and grounded in a belief of developing instruction tailored to the specific needs of the student, focusing on individual potential and strategies that are needed. She believes in working collaboratively with families, general educators, and specialists to support the whole child. She believes that every student can learn strategies to help support their growth and development.

  • She grew up in Massachusetts and moved to NY five years ago, where she met her husband.
  • She taught abroad in Singapore and has traveled to over 30 countries!
