Jen Burke, MA

Psychotherapist and School Psychologist

I am a dedicated school psychologist and psychotherapist with over 30 years of experience working with children and families in a variety of settings. I am passionate about helping children and adolescents navigate social, emotional, and behavioral challenges, and I value building strong, trusting relationships that support meaningful growth.

In my counseling work, I use a collaborative, strengths-based approach grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused techniques, and the integration of social thinking strategies. I tailor interventions to meet each child’s individual needs, helping them develop practical skills, increase self-awareness, and build confidence both in and out of session.

I have a Master’s in Elementary Education and a Master’s and Certificate of Advanced Study in School Psychology. My extensive experience across educational and clinical roles allows me to partner effectively with families, providing thoughtful, compassionate support to help children reach their full potential.

Two of my three children live in Europe, which gives me the perfect excuse to travel abroad and explore new places whenever I can!
