Dan is a board-certified clinical psychologist specializing in OCD, anxiety, phobias, and related disorders, who uses evidence-based cognitive-behavioral and acceptance-based therapies to help children, teens, and adults lead meaningful, value-driven lives. He works closely with families, offering parent coaching to support children with behavioral challenges and anxiety, and is experienced in treating a wide range of emotional and behavioral concerns across age groups. Dan also provides comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for ADHD, learning
disorders, autism spectrum conditions, and visual processing difficulties, helping students and families better understand and support academic and developmental success.

  • MA in Psychology from SUNY New Paltz
  • MS and PhD in Clinical Psychology from Suffolk University
  • Board Certified in Behavioral and Cognitive Psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology

  • Exposure-based behavioral therapies for anxiety disorders (obsessive–compulsive disorder, social anxiety, phobias, panic disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, etc.)
  • Behavioral activation for depression
  • Habit reversal therapy for body-focused repetitive behaviors (hair pulling, skin picking, etc.)
  • Parent coaching for behavioral issues and anxiety disorders (including SPACE for OCD)
  • Psychoeducational assessment for attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, learning disorders (including dyslexia and dysgraphia), autism, visual processing disorder, etc.

  • Completed internship at Green Chimneys, a residential therapeutic school, working with youth with complex behavioral and developmental challenges
  • 10+ years of experience evaluating and treating anxiety and mood disorders in clients of all ages
