Taylor Kurtz, PsyD

Taylor Kurtz has a Doctorate of Psychology in School-Community Psychology from Hofstra University and is a Certified School Psychologist. She specializes in working with children and adolescents with Anxiety, Depression and Autism Spectrum Disorder.

At Sasco River Center, Taylor sees individual patients aged six to 20 as well as conducts psychoeducational testing. Taylor has worked as an aide in a Montessori style elementary school, school psychologist at the elementary and high school level as well as in an outpatient hospital setting. Currently, Taylor is the school psychologist at Darien High School’s alternative program, Fitch Academy.

Taylor has additionally graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and English from The George Washington University.

I have a profound interest in pulling from various types of therapy, including CBT and DBT, to treat patients. Furthermore, I am passionate about working with children and adolescents and collaborating with professionals in other disciplines. Working in a team atmosphere is motivating for me. The dedication from the families that come into the Sasco River Center is especially inspiring. Seeing the progress made after each session with a patient fills me with a sense of pride and accomplishment.
