Art Therapy

art therapy graphicArt Therapy is a form of psychotherapy in which one can express non-verbally through art. Many teens
are challenged by expressing themselves verbally in a clinical setting. The science behind art therapy
has shown that the act of art making as a form of expression, can help tap into the deeper
consciousness to foster greater understanding.

Consider art therapy if you find your teen is struggling with:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Disordered eating
  • Low self-esteem
  • Lack of social connection
  • Identity formation
  • Stress
  • Feeling broken or faulty

Our Summer Art Therapy Group will take place in our Wilton Clinic, located in a peaceful and serene setting that provides the perfect backdrop for creative expression. The clinic is equipped with a wide range of art materials, including paints, pastels, clay, and more, allowing participants to experiment with different mediums and techniques. Additionally, the clinic has ample space for group discussions and activities, ensuring that each participant feels comfortable and supported throughout the program.
The Summer Art Therapy Group will run for four weeks in the first month of July, with sessions taking place once a week.
