Art Therapy is a form of psychotherapy in which one can express non-verbally through art. Many teens
are challenged by expressing themselves verbally in a clinical setting. The science behind art therapy
has shown that the act of art making as a form of expression, can help tap into the deeper
consciousness to foster greater understanding.
Consider art therapy if you find your teen is struggling with:
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Disordered eating
- Low self-esteem
- Lack of social connection
- Identity formation
- Stress
- Feeling broken or faulty
