SRC Invites your child to join “Feeling
Friends” this spring!
Feeling Friends promotes the development and exploration of social-emotional skills through play-based activities.
Playgroups focused on fostering a child’s understanding of emotions. Children will learn about different emotions that can occur throughout life via games, stories, and art activities. While exploring emotions, children will be encouraged to use their new knowledge of emotions to express to others what they are feeling and when to ask for help.
All group head facilitators will be licensed occupational therapists with experience in helping children with social-emotional development. These sessions are done in the sensory gym so your child is getting regulating sensory input, and participating in confidence-building motor activities while exploring the world of emotions.
Groups are designed for children 3-5 years old not yet in kindergarten. The group fee is $345, which includes three 60-minute group sessions. Additional sessions can be purchased for $115/each.
